Artist Profile – Gill Gatfield
Since 2002 Gill Gatfield’s art has explored the
frameworks of arts practice, developing a body of conceptually-based work that
responds with integrity to fine arts traditions, while questioning the way that
the materials and methods of arts practice limit how art works are interpreted
and received. Gatfield received a Bachelor of Laws, University of Auckland 1988 & Master of Fine Arts (Hons), University of Auckland 2004.
