Shaun Waugh is currently completing a MFA at Massey University in Wellington, having previously attained a Bachelor of Fine Art at the Whitecliffe college of Arts & Design in Auckland. Waugh’s interest in photography resides in his engagement with questions of gender and social behaviour, recording and exploring cultural spaces within frameworks the documentation, cataloguing of his subject. Waugh’s images are both attractive and questioning, with the viewer invited to consider the politics and aesthetics of such environments.
