COCA continues to offer our popular general practice art classes every school term and holidays of the year. These classes cater for students from 5 – 13 years — divided into age groups — and cover a broad range of art practices and media including: drawing,
painting, mixed media, sculpture, printmaking and design techniques. We are now also offering an adult printmaking class.
Each term the classes are structured around a specific theme. Within the central theme, subject matter becomes more involved and diverse depending on the age and experience level and fresh activities are provided each term. Our classes are limited to 12 students to ensure that each student receives individual tuition from the tutor. The classes run in conjunction with the school terms and the course fees cover all materials.
Art tutor, Melanie Riley is a qualified art teacher with experience in Primary and Secondary schools. Her special interest is printmaking.
In addition to our term-time children's classes, COCA offers children's holiday classes and also a new adults printmaking class. For further information, check out the current brochure linked below or email Sarah Brown on reception@coca.org.nz
