Talk. Arts Unlocked: Becoming a Collector
Tuesday 27th September 6-8pm at CoCA
Learn how to begin and build an art collection and make wise art investments from people in the know. Hear how dealer galleries work from Danae Mossman, Director of dealer gallery Hopkinson Mossman in Auckland, and find out how private collectors Garth Gallaway and Kate Harris started collecting and what they look for. A Q&A will follow to let you dig further into their top tips. CoCA Director and Curator Paula Orrell will also provide an exclusive guided tour to Contemporary Christchurch, CoCA’s latest exhibition featuring the work of talented local artists you may want to invest in.
