Performance. Speaking Proud

This hour long event features performances and readings by some of our finest local and international authors and poets is not to be missed!

 

The event is to raise funds to continue the work of Q-topia, an organisation that supports LGBTQIA+ Youth in Canterbury through social support, education and advocacy.

 

Featuring readings from legendary international writers Ivan E. Coyote and David Levithan, along with performances from Christchurch poets Kimberley Holmes, Isla Martin, and Sophie Rea.

 

Koha at the door, with all proceeds from event going directly to Q-topia’s work. 

 

The venue is wheelchair accessible with a ramp to the space, disabled and gender neutral toilets will be available on the night. The lighting can be dimmed and there is seating available. The closest bus to the venue is the number 17, The Yellow and Orange Lines also stop nearby. The event is child friendly.
