COCA and the Christchurch Art Gallery Trust are pleased to present their 9th annual fundraising event; an auction of 40 selected works of art. Featured artists include Paul Dibble, Peata Larkin alongside contemporary works offered for resale. We are very pleased to announce that in 2009 the auctioneer will be the Director of Art at Art + Object, Ben Plumbly.
The commission from the sale of these works will secure important funds for the Christchurch Art Gallery Trust to assist with acquisitions for the public collection and to support Gallery staff development and distinguished visitor fellowships, while COCA is seeking support for its 2009 series of ten emerging South Island artists. We look forward to your participation and support in this successful annual event.
