Preview is an exhibition of selected works by artists either completing study at tertiary institutions in the South Island, (generally at post-graduate level), or artists who have an association with the region, whose work is deserving of wider exposure. The participants have been chosen following a request for submissions from tertiary institutions throughout the South Island, either on the recommendation of supervisors or from proposals that COCA Gallery has received. This is the fifth year that the Gallery has curated the exhibition and in 2009 it will tour to Webb’s in Auckland, as well as the Temple Gallery in Dunedin.
