The Top Floor, 8th–21st December 2008

Juncture presents a body of work by Year 12 students of Catholic Cathedral College. Upon entering the Top Floor, visitors actually have to walk amongst an installation of painted banners made during a Top Floor workshop where students looked at Locust Jones as an artist model, and responded by making work concerning themes of sustainibility, war, political conflict and terror. These works are then reinforced by a subsequent body of work students created after their visit to COCA. To create a balance, the themes of this new work offer affirming messages of hope, peace, and positive energy.
