100 Works of Art from the CSA’s Collection. 1886-2003
Since 2007 COCA has developed a strategic plan to reposition the gallery in
the 21st century. Following a review of our collection policy, 100
selected works are to be de-accessioned. The opportunity to purchase
these is made exclusively to members of COCA and Friends of the
Christchurch Art Gallery from 23rd July until September 2009.
This
is an opportunity to acquire quality artworks, spanning a period of 117
years. Artists include: Mark Braunias, E. F. Temple, Neil Frazer,
Michael Smither, Rudolf Gopas, Cecil Kelly, Colin Lovell-Smith, Olivia
Spencer-Bower, Eileen Mayo, Juliet Peter and selected historical works.
Works are available to view at the gallery.
